"I like how quick it was to find out the result — there's no more need to have lots of people counting the votes."
PROBLEM
Preparation for the election took 3 weeks
In the past, similar paper-based elections, as well as the vote counting, usually took 3-4 weeks. The election commission prepared paper-based ballots and was counting the results manually.
SOLUTION
Student Club Presidential Election
Holding the elections with the Polys web-based app took approximately 3 days, which included the organization, the actual voting process and the counting of results. Instead of all the time-consuming paperwork that usually accompanied election preparations, MU spent more time distributing election information to students.
РЕЗУЛЬТАТ
60% voter turnout
The elections were held at the Faculty of Public Health of the University of Mahidol and included 5 candidates and 700 voters. Turnout was 60%.
